I began teaching the year I graduated from Bryn Mawr College in 1980, and my involvement in education has
been uninterrupted for 30 years.  While my professional experiences have spanned the spectrum, from
administrator to coach, I have always been a teacher, either in the classroom or via tutorial, and over the years,
I have prided myself on being able to reach all ages.  In addition, my 30 years in education exposed me to a
striking curricular array.  As a result, I feel comfortable teaching a breadth of material and skills, including
college level:

1.  writing and research skills;
2.  organizational and study skills; and
3.  specific content (English, history, and mathematics).

My other qualities include an ability/eagerness to:

1.  interact effectively with college students,
2.  inspire confidence,
3.  assess the student's child's unique strengths/weaknesses,
4.  communicate with parents as need arises, and
5.  tutor long-distance via SKYPE, a free computer service, as needed.

I would be happy to discuss with you the specifics of my tutorial program.  Please feel free to contact me at

TUTORIAL
"Nothing is as important to us as our children's education.
Martha has been the answer to our prayers.
There are no subjects that she can't tackle, and her dedication knows no bounds.
We are eternally grateful to her for the contribution she has made to our children's future."
