As a private tutor, I subscribe to a simple mission:
develop content mastery, solidify self-confidence, and reduce stress.
Over the years, I have observed a dramatic increase in the pressures young people face.
Middle school students are expected to do high school work. High school students are expected to do college work.
Parents hover too much. The college process causes undue angst, and universities that were once "backups" are now exclusive.
I am more concerned than ever about what we have created.
Achievement and happiness are not mutually exclusive, so if you're looking for a little reprieve, come on in.
